COMPLETIONS
70MW Veitsiluoto Island, Finland
Our flagship 70 MW campus in Kemi, Finland is a next-generation, liquid-cooled modular datacentre built for efficiency, scalability, and year-round operational stability. Located on the historic Veitsiluoto industrial island, the site benefits from low ambient temperatures, exceptional grid reliability, and access to predominantly renewable power.
The facility uses a closed-loop cooling system that supports consistent performance even at high densities.
The flexible capacity of Kemi campus is approximately 60 MW, which allows the energy consumption of the facility to be rapidly adjusted according to the needs of the national grid. Up to 85% of the power consumption can be automatically reduced in a very short time, making the campus an efficient and flexible participant in the energy market.
With modular units engineered for resilient power distribution, fibre connectivity, and continuous on-site operations, the campus stands as one of the most efficient and environmentally aligned compute environments in the Nordic region.
IN PROGRESS
200 MW+ Texas/Indiana, USA
In the United States, Bilt is advancing a broad pipeline of new developments that will significantly expand our North American footprint. These opportunities include a mix of modular datacentre sites in key energy markets and strategic partnerships that support long-term, large-scale growth.
We are currently progressing multiple locations through build, design, power procurement, and permitting, with each project built around the same high-efficiency, liquid-cooled architecture proven in Finland. Together, these initiatives position Bilt for substantial capacity expansion across the U.S. while maintaining the company’s core focus on operational excellence, reliability, and disciplined engineering. More information coming soon.
Finland Site
Our flagship 70 MW campus in Kemi, Finland is a next-generation, hydro-cooled modular datacentre designed for efficiency, scalability, and year-round operational stability. Located on the historic Veitsiluoto industrial island, the site benefits from exceptionally low ambient temperatures, world-class grid reliability, and direct access to Finland’s predominantly renewable electricity mix. The facility is built around a closed-loop water-cooling architecture using high-flow plate heat exchangers, insulated distribution manifolds, and variable-speed pumping to minimise thermal loss and maintain consistent outlet temperatures even at peak load. Once commissioned, the sealed loop requires minimal make-up water and eliminates evaporative usage entirely. Each modular unit integrates dedicated power transformation, high-density busway distribution, redundant fibre paths, automated environmental controls, and a real-time monitoring and telemetry layer for temperature, flow rate, power quality, and equipment health. Combined with continuous on-site operations and maintenance, the campus delivers one of the most efficient and environmentally aligned high-density compute environments in the Nordic region.
